Acadia National Park Family Vacation

Norah and her gorgeous family visited Maine for their vacation this year, and Im so glad they did!
We chatted about location, and found out that they were actually married here a few years ago on Otter Cliffs and that was such a special place for them! But…with two precious kiddos in tow, we all agreed perhaps somewhere with less of a risk of falling off the mountains might be approapriate this year!

Sand Beach is one of those gems at Acadia National Park that everyone NEEDS to see- its perfect sand paired with gorgeous rocks and tide pools to explore, rocky coast line of Otter Cliffs to one side and a convenient hiking trail off the other side, its one of my personal favorite spots to have an engagement or family photo session. So, when Norah expressed that their kids were slightly under-enthused about posing for pictures, I said “not a problem” and we headed to the beach! The kiddos played and explored, and Mom and Dad got to take in the views, while we effortlessly caught moments of bliss and childhood that their family can now look back on for years to come.

Im so grateful to have met this awesome crew, and hope to see them again next year!
